Third Wave, which operates the PC shop "Dospara", is doing well. There are many topics such as continuing to open stores all over the country and introducing Windows 11 laptops for less than 100,000 yen including tax.
The author also uses the company's "GALLERIA GCR2060RGF-E" (hereafter, GALLERIA GCR) for daily manuscripts. The reason why I bought this PC is because it was "good value for money". The CPU is equipped with a 9th generation Core i7-9750H with 6 cores and 12 threads, the GPU is a GeForce RTX 2060 (graphics memory is 6GB), the memory is DDR4 16GB, and the storage is a 512GB NVMe SSD. The refresh rate of the liquid crystal display is 144Hz, and the price is about 190,000 yen. I bought it in 2019, and with all this performance, I wasn't dissatisfied with the gameplay at all.
However. When I do this job, I often come across the latest PCs. In particular, after the development code name Tiger Lake's 11th generation Core-equipped PC was released, my heart began to quiver. It is inevitable that a personal computer will be out of date when you buy it, but the "GALLERIA U" series that I tried this time came to me in such a state of mind.
Positioned as the successor to "GALLERIA in collaboration with Intel" released in 2019, the GALLERIA U this time is also a model in collaboration with Intel.
In addition, it is based on the "NUC X15" series, which is the notebook PC version of the NUC (Next Unit of Computing) advocated by Intel. Even from the specs, it can be said that it is the latest model that traces the series of notebook PCs I purchased, so I was very interested. So this time, I borrowed the high-end model "GALLERIA UL7C-R37" (hereafter, GALLERIA U) equipped with GeForce RTX 3070 and checked how much power it had.
Let's compare the specs.

Just arranging them like this is natural However, it is full of "new model feeling", but what about the interface?
Only the latest model, the interface has been steadily enhanced. The back of the main unit is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4, HDMI output, and RJ-45 terminals for wired LAN. Not only is it equipped with Thunderbolt 4 that can display the display and supply power, but the wired LAN is 2.5GbE compatible and high speed.
The side has an exhaust port, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, a headphone jack, and a Kensington lock, and the right side has a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A x 2 and an SD memory card slot. Many recent notebook PC models are equipped with only a microSD slot, but my digital SLR uses an SD memory card, so I'm glad that I don't have to prepare a separate adapter.
By the way, the body size of the new model is about 356 (width) x 234 (depth) x 21.6 ~ 25 (thickness) mm, and the weight is about 1.96 kg, which is one size smaller than the conventional GALLERIA GCR, and is also lighter. Realized. This is largely due to the use of magnesium alloy for the body, which has increased rigidity and reduced weight.
