Monetary information is rarely shared among families
Saison Automobile and Fire Insurance announced on February 7 the results of a survey on money management between couples and families. According to the survey, more than 60% of respondents answered that they did not know their spouse's or family's income, indicating that information related to money is not shared much between couples and families.
60% do not know where insurance policies are insured under their own name
In this survey, how much money-related information such as income, bank accounts, and insurance details are shared between couples and families I checked to see if it was. As a result of the survey, only 35.2% of respondents knew the amount and sources of income of their spouses, family members, and cohabitants who live together. Regarding bank account information, nearly 60% of families answered that they "do not know" or "do not know" the PIN numbers of each other's cash cards. Regarding Internet banking, which has become popular in recent years, more than 70% of respondents answered that they "do not know" or "do not know" each other's login IDs and passwords. In this survey, information sharing among family members is especially necessary for insurance subscription status and contract details. However, while 67.9% of respondents were aware of the details of the insurance they purchased under their own name, only 44.4% of them were aware of insurance under their family's name. In addition, only 41.9% of people knew where their insurance policies were kept, even if they were in their own name, and only 23.9% of those in their family's names.
